Gunjan Patel

Senior Software & Data Platform Engineer · Copenhagen

17+ years building the systems that organisations depend on — from event-driven cloud architectures and data pipelines to enterprise platform engineering and ML-assisted automation. Currently at Vestas Wind Systems, where I own cloud infrastructure and help make data trustworthy enough to drive business decisions.

I sit at the intersection of software engineering, data platform architecture, and operational reliability. My experience spans the full journey of data — from raw ingestion and pipeline design, through enterprise system integration, to the platform administration and tooling that keeps everything running. That end-to-end view is what makes data trustworthy — and what makes AI and analytics actually work in production.
